Cameron Highlands (Part 1)

Don't forget your scarf!! ;)

Though Cameron Highlands is situated in tropical Malaysia, being a "highlands", it is significantly cooler than its lower-altitude surroundings. The mountain winds could magnify the effects, making it feel colder than it 16-20°C, especially in the mornings

Equatorial Hotel

After a 10-hour coach ride from Singapore, we finally reached our hotel - Equatorial Hotel, supposedly the highest hotel in Cameron Highlands.

It has a spacious, charming and garden-like compound, unlike the many "modern" hotels in the cities.

(Hotel lobby)

Useful fact: The hotel lobby has 4 snooker tables; the tokens can be bought through a vending machine - RM$10 gets you 5 tokens. Since there's not much you can do in Cameron Highlands at night, you can consider playing snooker in the lobby, haha
